450 Expected to Graduate from MSUM Dec. 18

The Fall Semester commencement ceremony will take place next Friday, December 18th, at 2:00 p.m. in Nemzek Fieldhouse. 453 students have applied for graduation. More than half are expected to participate in the ceremony. Alumna Tammy Miller will be the commencement speaker. She has a BS in accounting (1982) and an MBA (1996) from MSU Moorhead. She has received two distinguished alumna awards from her alma mater. Miller is leading MSUM’s Major Gifts Initiative to fund scholarships and the new campus wellness center. Mascot Challenge on Saturday: Keep Doug Peters in Red

The MSUM Dragons, along with the North Dakota State University Bison and Concordia College Cobbers are excited to announce their partnership to compete in the 2nd annual Mascot Challenge benefiting The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign at the West Acres Mall on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 12:30-8 p.m. Click headline for details.

CSA Holiday Social Dec. 9

The CSA Holiday Social will be Wednesday, December 9 from 9-11 a.m. in the CA Gallery Foyer! We will once again have some fabulous jewelry, a Marlowe Kulish rocking horse, and more on our raffle. Raffle tickets are $1 apiece, or 6 for $5, and are only available for sale at the event. If you can’t attend, send a friend to purchase your tickets! Meet Minnesota gubernatorial candidate R.T. Rybak

Are you interested in meeting a candidate that could be the next governor of Minnesota? Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak is running for the Democratic endorsement to run against the Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota in November of 2010. R.T. Rybak will be having a meet and greet Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. in the CMU room 203. The event is free and open to the public so stop by and ask R.T. any questions you have. The event is hosted by the MSUM College Democrats!
