Michael McCord, English, was selected by the North Dakota Secretary of State, Al Jaeger, to serve as Senior Editor for the 2013-2015 North Dakota Blue Book. “Heretics,” a full-length play by Richard Zinober, English, was given a developmental workshop by the Horse Trade Theatre Group in New York City this spring. An individual artist grant from the Lake Region Arts Council in Fergus Falls and an MSUM faculty grant helped fund the project. Zinober teaches playwriting and screenwriting at MSUM.
New Rivers Press has received a $15,000 operational grant from the McKnight Foundation to support its ongoing efforts as a nonprofit literary press located at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
