Shelton A. Gunaratne, professor of mass communications emeritus, has an essay titled “Emerging global divides in media and communication theory: European universalism versus non-Western reactions” scheduled for publication in the next (special) issue (Vol. 19 No. 3) of the Asian Journal of Communication.
