Prairie Public to premiere “A Considered View: Photographs of Wayne Gudmundson”

Prairie Public Television is premiering A CONSIDERED VIEW: Photographs of Wayne Gudmundson at the Plains Art Museum on Thursday, February 11th at 7:00. The public is invited. Free admittance and free popcorn and pop. Attendees may have to listen to some folks blather away for a bit, but it shouldn’t be too deadly. This 30-minute program documents the life and work of w.g. The program will be aired on PPTV starting Feb 16.

Continuing Studies receives grant for College for Kids

The MSUM Continuing Studies office on January 28 was awarded a Legacy Arts and Cultural Heritage grant for College for Kids scholarships and supplies. Accepting the grant from MSUM was President Szymanski, Continuing Studies Director Jan Flack, Continuing Studies staff, Rep. Morrie Lanning and Maxine Adams from Lake Region Arts Council. The grant is funded by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
