Peer tutoring request deadline Nov. 22

The deadline for students to request Peer Tutoring for Fall 2010 classes is Monday November 22. Most tutoring will end on Study Day (Wednesday December 8). Peer Tutoring is located in the Academic Resource Office (ARO) in FR 151. ‘My Father’s World’ opens Nov. 28 at Rourke Art Museum

The Rourke Art Museum is presenting “My Father’s World,” an exhibit of the original prints of Kansas Swedish-American landscape artist Birger Sandzén. The exhibit of works is from the collection of Dr. James M. Kaplan, Professor Emeritus of French at MSUM, and is under the high patronage of his Excellency  Jonas Hafström, Royal Ambassador of Sweden to the United States.

Chang-Seong Hong article accepted for publication

Chang-Seong Hong, Philosophy, had his article accepted for publication. The Korean translation of his “An Analytic Approach to the Buddhist Thesis of Non-Self” will appear in Buddhist Review this December (Seoul, Korea). His article is based on the Honors Lecture that he gave to the MSUM community in November 2006.

Student organization budget requests due Dec. 1

Fiscal Year 2012 Student Organization budget requests are due December 1, 2010. Currently recognized or pending student organizations and some campus activity areas, may apply for a Fiscal Year 2012 activity budget by completing the online application between now and December 1.
