MSUM employee Larry Saarela, 57, passed away April 5, 2011. Larry worked at MSUM as a GMW for the past 19 years. Visitation is Friday, April 8, 2011, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Memorial service @ 2 p.m. following the visitation.
The 2011 Juried Student Exhibition Awards Ceremony will be Thursday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. This year the juror was Lisa Elder Melander, an MSUM alum and now a corporate curator in Minneapolis.
