MSUM’s fifth annual Earth Day Celebration is Thursday, April 22 from 1-5 p.m. on the campus mall. There will be local vendors, informational tables, food, music and much more! Music will be provided by Werewolf Barmitsvah; Classical Chill; Inside Out Strings; and O’FOSHO. Take a break, enjoy the nice weather, and come support Earth Day! The English Department, McGrath Visiting Writers Series and the Film Studies Department announce a special performance of Joan Didion’s play—adapted from her memoir—The Year of Magical Thinking, presented by Theatre B and featuring Mary Cochran, Thursday, April 22 from 4:30-6 p.m. in Weld Hall Auditorium. Hendrix Health Center Wellness Educators (WE) won the BACCHUS Region 4 Outstanding Program for their WALKtober event. BACCHUS is a network of more than 32,000 student leaders and advisors who work with over eight million peers on more than 900 campuses throughout the world. Region 4 consists of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. This year’s WE’s are Jennifer Florian, Sam Gritzmacher, Stephanie Hansen, Onana Omwodo Shaun Rosario, Casey Wangen, Macailia Warner and Caroline Bauman.
Livingston Lord Library’s main elevator (the one that goes to all four floors), will be undergoing a major upgrade beginning April 26. The elevator will be out of service for approximately five weeks from April 26-June 1.
