Brad Bachmeier, Art & Design, had two ceramic sculptures selected for the national juried “2D-3D Exhibition: Figurative Works” currently being held at the LH Horton Jr. Gallery in Stockton, Calif. Brian Wisenden, Biosciences, gave an invited talk at the 2011-2012 Colloquium Series of the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, on Oct. 13. The title of his lecture was “Co-evolution of parental care and anti-predator competence of the young in a biparental cichlid fish.”
Rosalinda Connelley, Mathematics and a student in NDSU’s education doctoral program, presented on Oct. 6 her recent group research project titled “Sociotechnical Systems Approach: A Case Analysis of a Blended Doctoral Program” at the 2011 Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association Conference in Jackson, Wyo., with her advisor Elizabeth Erichsen and Christine Okurut-Ibore.
