Merrie Sue Holtan won national second place award in home writing and honorable mention in sports writing

Merrie Sue Holtan, communication studies, won a national second place award in home writing and honorable mention in sports writing from the National Federation of Presswomen national conference held in Greenville, S. C. She also won a 25-year membership recognition award. Holtan is a past president of North Dakota Professional Communicators and a North Dakota Communicator of Achievement.
