Red Weather, the literary journal edited and designed by students at MSUM, is seeking poetry, prose, and/or visual art (photos, drawings, illustrations, paintings, prints, and any creative work that can be presented in an image file) for inclusion in the second issue of its thirty-fourth volume.
The weekend is the second annual North Dakota Student Leadership Forum, hosted by Mary and Dave Maring as well as Ed and Nancy Schaefer.
Michael J. Krajewski, Music, recently received a Dille Fund for Excellence grant for his proposal, “Developing Live Composition and Performance Techniques with Abelton Live.” Krajewski will present a public lecture/demonstration during the Fall 2015 semester.
Aaron Quanbeck, School of Communication and Journalism, recently won the Top Paper award in the Debut Paper category of the Broadcast Education Association. Quanbeck’s paper, “A Rhetorical/Interpretive Analysis of Edward R. Murrow’s Criticism of Broadcast Journalism,” will be presented at the Association’s annual convention in Las Vegas in April.
