Trick-or-Canning is an event that students can take part in every Halloween. Clubs in the Biosciences Department invited fellow students and friends to trick-or-treat for canned goods this Halloween at residences near the MSUM campus. Last year, 209 pounds of canned goods were donated to the Dorothy Day Food Pantry while this year students gathered 306 pounds of canned goods! […]

Marion V. Smith, 93, passed on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at the Shepherd of the Valley Healthcare Center. A native of St. Paul Minn., she had retired as professor emerita from Moorhead State University, where she taught mathematics from 1945 to1982. As a hobbyist photographer she enjoyed summer vacations touring the world’s exotic locals, which resulted in many awards.
