Steve Grineski, STL, recently presented a paper titled, “The multi-dimensional lives of children who are homeless” at the International Conference for Academic Disciplines held at the American University of Rome, Italy. This paper detailed a 2-year ongoing study of the children and youth staying at a local homeless shelter.
Dr. David Tack, Teaching & Learning, presented his research at the National Association of Multicultural Educators conference in Tucson, Arizona. His study, “A Culturally Just Curriculum for Non-Native Teachers on a Reservation School,” was presented as part of the first day proceedings, and he had the opportunity to discuss publication with the three editors of the journal Multicultural Perspectives.
