Wisenden invited by Iowa State University to give departmental seminar

Brian Wisenden, professor of Biosciences, gave an invited Departmental Seminar at the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management (NREM) at Iowa State University on Feb. 14, 2014. McEwen awarded grant for environmental research in Arctic Alaska

Daniel McEwen, Department of Biosciences, was part of an interdisciplinary team that was awarded a 1.37 million dollar grant from the Arctic Landscape Conservation Cooperative under the direction of the United States Geological Survey to study the impacts of climate change on linkages between hydrology, insect emergence, and migratory shorebird reproductive success.
