Growing opportunity: New Fargo classes to teach women skills for high-paying development jobs

Alexandra Fogarty, Graphic Communications and Interactive Media instructor, is teaching at a new local chapter of Girl Develop It, an organization whose mission is to empower and mentor women looking to learn programming. Peterson, Haugo named Alumni Foundation Board Directors Emeritus

Clair Peterson and John Haugo have been named Alumni Foundation Board Directors Emeritus for, “Outstanding and continuing service to the MSUM Alumni Foundation.” They were awarded on Thursday, Sept. 25 during a board member meeting. Peterson served as President of the Alumni Association in 1971. Haugo served on the Alumni Foundation Board from 2006 to 2012.

President Anne and Anne fans run for students, event raises more than $1.2 million

Last night’s unique and far-reaching Laps for the Long Run fundraiser raised $1,202,257 with more donations expected in the coming weeks. The fundraiser was part of homecoming and presidential inauguration week activities.
