Dorothy Dodds passed away Saturday, Dec. 15. Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 22 at the First Presbyterian Church in Moorhead. Time is yet to be determined. Dodds taught kindergarten at the Moorhead State Campus School from 1949 until the school closed in 1972. Konrad Czynski, Philosophy, with Maestro Stephen Simon and Bonnie Simon published their 10th CD in the Maestro Classics “Stories in Music” series. This is Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” with humorous (even nonsensical) verses written by Ogden Nash in 1950 for the conductor André Kostelanetz. Czynski narrates the whimsical poems evoking comical aspects of a variety of creatures, including Pianists!
