Erin Gillett and Marilyn Labrensz, Early Childhood Education, presented at the Minnesota Kindergarten Association conference April 18. Their session, P.L.A.Y. in K: Play, Literacy And Young children in Kindergarten, shared the many ways teachers can foster the literacy and oral language development of kindergartners through dramatic play experience.
