Jean Hollaar will serve as Vice President for Finance and Administration, effective May 1, 2015. Following a national search, Jean emerged as the clear choice from a pool of talented and experienced candidates. Her 25 years of experience at MSUM have both prepared her for this leadership opportunity and revealed her grit, humility and heart.

Three teams of MSUM students involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America’s national Batemen Case Study competition placed in the final finish, receiving honorable mentions. Most schools enter one or two teams, but MSUM entered four, all under the direction of Professor Liz Conmy, who uses the Bateman Case Study campaign as a capstone project.
The Society for Professional Journalists and the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association have both given first place honors to MSUM’s Campus News in the student newscast category.
