Former MSUM professor reads today

Poet and former MSU Moorhead English professor David Mason returns to campus March 24 for this year’s Glasrud Reading and Lecture.

Mason taught at MSUM for nine years and authored three collections of poetry, The Buried Houses, The Country I Remember and Arrivals, and a verse novel, Ludlow. In 2010, he was appointed Colorado Poet Laureate. Mason was also a Carnegie Minnesota Professor of the Year in 1994.
Mason discusses “poetry and the public” at 4 p.m. March 24 in MSUM’s Comstock Memorial Union, room 101. At 8 p.m. he reads in the same room.
