Prepare for Fall Student Hiring: Post Your Jobs in Handshake
Incoming Dragons are already preparing for fall, and many students begin searching for on-campus employment during the summer as they attend SOAR Registration Days.
During our student employment sessions, questions about campus jobs are consistently among the most common topics we hear from students and families. Posting positions early helps students plan ahead and allows departments to connect with a larger pool of applicants before the fall rush.
On-campus employment helps students build skills, gain experience, develop connections, and strengthen their sense of belonging at MSUM.
If your department plans to hire student employees this fall, now is a great time to post positions in Handshake.
All undergraduate students are directed to look at Handshake for employment opportunities. To create a positive job search experience for students, please avoid using alternative sites to post your opportunities.
