Summer 2025 School Psych Residency Week in the Books!
The last week of June all the first and second year School Psychology graduate students were on campus for a busy “Residency Week” of learning, fun, more learning, and more fun. This residency week allows our in-person and remote students to get to know each other in person. It also allows our second years to spend time mentoring the first year students and it gives the opportunity to do some hands on learning that is more difficult to do entirely remotely. Our program has a blended synchronous learning environment for most classes, which means our in-person and remote students attend class synchronously together and we use zoom, shared documents, GoReact, D2L, and other technology and pedagogy to make sure our students are getting the skills they need to be effective school psychologists. Residency Week 2025 was a great way to jumpstart the relationships and learning that make this a positive and effective training experience for all our students!
