Find out what’s really in your WorkLife benefit
March Wednesday WorkLife Webinars
Just One Phone Call Makes Your Life Easier.
It’s a title that best describes what you’ll learn in the March 15 Wednesday WorkLife Webinar. Join Ned Rousmaniere to discover what’s really in your WorkLife Services benefit.
Rousmaniere’s presentation draws on his 22 years of experience with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to make sure you tap the benefit for all kinds of help.
“WorkLife EAP is truly the first call to make for whatever help any time, any day,” Rousmaniere said. “EAP provides many services that have nothing to do with counseling.”
While counseling options are essential, Rousmaniere’s experience tells him the stigma connected to counseling too often stops employees and their family members from using the other services. Need a painter? Help with event plans? Care for parents? A new day care that supports your child’s specific needs? A will?
You—and anyone in your household—may call the EAP vendor LifeMatters for help. The number is 1-800-657-3719.
“EAP offers all the services—from financial and legal advice to career development to help with daily tasks and more—to take care of life’s stressors so we can all focus on work while at work,” Rousmaniere said. Log into “General EAP Benefits” from noon to 1 p.m., March 15. Catch the recording later if you miss it live.
