Pulse Mentorship Program
Students and staff from SPECTRUM and the Rainbow Dragon Center are excited to announce a new mentorship program to support LGBTQ+ college students in the Fargo-Moorhead community. The Pulse Mentorship Program is a LGBTQ+ mentorship program that matches LGBTQ+ students with LGBTQ+ or ally mentors from the Fargo-Moorhead community. This program seeks to create a safe space for students to be themselves and explore their identity, provide resources and guidance, engage in open dialogues and discussion, assist in navigating workplace or school environments, help develop goals for their future plans, connect students to the larger LGBTQ+ community, and offer support.
We are now accepting applications for college students who are interested in being matched with a mentor. Mentors are Tri-College faculty, staff, and students. The time commitment will vary based on mentor and mentees preferences and availability. Mentee applications will be accepted throughout the year, with a priority deadline of September 30. Our goal is to match mentors with mentees by the end of September. Please view the application online by visiting: https://goo.gl/forms/stqo3pWEarCBrRQi2
