Psychology department has added two new courses

The Psychology department has added two new courses to the Fall 2015 schedule. These courses are open to psychology majors and non-majors and will appeal to students across many disciplines.

Psy 320 Social Psychology (course ID 001905) will be offered T Th 10:30-11:45 am. Prerequisite: Psy 113 General Psychology. This course gives an in-depth look at theories and research involving individual’s reactions to others. Topics covered include social perception, attraction, social influence, aggression, and social exchange.

Psy 470: History and Systems in Psychology (course ID 001897) will be offered MWF 12:00-12:50. Prerequisite: Psy 113 General Psychology and junior or senior standing. This course offers an overview of the development of psychological theories from associationism to the present, and covers schools, fields and areas of psychology.
