College for Kids & Teens awarded Lake Region Arts Council Grant
MSUM College for Kids & Teens has been awarded $8500 in grant support from Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) for Summer 2015. This is the 4 year in a row that the program has applied for and been awarded money from LRAC to support their K-12 courses in the Arts.
The majority of the money, $7500, will be used to support need-based scholarships for K-12 students that want to attend MSUM College for Kids & Teens Arts courses. Examples of courses that students could take include: Exploring World Music, Clay and Toy Animation, Mobile Sculpture, Graphic Design, Drawing with Light, How to give a sheet a sunburn and many more!
With the support of Lake Region Arts Council – This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
