John Benson presents at Annual Association of American Geographers

John Benson, a geographer in the School of Teaching and Learning and the son of missionaries, presented a paper at the Annual Association of American Geographers conference in Tampa, Fla., on Wednesday, April 9. The paper was titled, “Faith of Our Fathers Living Still?: A Comparison of the Religious Development of Children of Missionaries to their Parents.” The paper was based on research he has done on the missionary community that he grew up within.
