Power positions
Student Senate requests all the students to consider joining university and student affairs committees, especially now that policies are being revised and fees budgets is being discussed. We need to represent students at these committees so that we are there thinking and deciding for the rest of the student body in matters like, Academic Appeals, Financial Aid & Suspension Appeals, etc. What if these committees don’t get any student opinion and your fellow student gets denied a refund without hearing the students’ point of view?
These committees are a platform to interact with school staff as well as find out more about the university. This will also shine on your resume! So please hurry up and take up these positions!
