Student Senate Diversity Committee Meeting Tonight

The Student Senate Diversity Committee will hold it’s weekly meeting at 5 p.m. in the Student Senate office (CMU 126) and will be discussing how to make our campus more inclusive. MSUM Planetarium awarded $58,000 for hardware upgrade.

Last week, Student Senate reviewed Student Technology Fee requests and approved the funding request for Planetarium Upgrades in the amount of $58,000.00.  These hardware upgrades include a new, higher resolution fulldome projector, CPU update and upgrade, as well as the necessary equipment to make team-building through cooperative gaming in the planetarium, particularly the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, a permanent fixture.

Mark your calendars – Wednesday, October 29th, at 6:00 PM in room 103 in the library. The Student Senate will be having our second ad-hoc topical/town hall meeting on Charting the Future.

If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the Senate office in CMU 108, or contact the Student Senate President and/or the Student Senate Legislative and Internal Affairs Chair.

It cannot be stressed how important this is for all MnSCU and MSU Moorhead students to learn more about Charting the Future, and to speak up about it.
