Combined Charities Campaign: Last Week
Have you done your Combined Charities donation, yet? We are in the last week of this year’s Combined Charities Campaign. We did get an update from the state last week on where we were at in terms of number donators and amount pledged. We are a bit behind where we were last year at this time and significantly below last year’s final totals, so we know there are those of you out there who just haven’t gotten around to doing your pledge/donation, yet. The October 31 deadline is approaching fast, so NOW is the time to act. If you have already entered your payroll deduction or made your one-time contribution, THANK YOU.
The Employee Self-Service website link is: www.state.mn.us/employees, then go to Other Payroll. Step by step instructions are on the back of your campaign brochure or at www.charities.state.mn.us/how-to. If you would rather do a one-time check, click here: CCC-OneTimeDonation2011-12 or request a form from one of the campaign co-chairs: Deb Lewis (lewisd@mnstate.edu), Karen Mehnert-Meland (meland@mnstate.edu), Peg Potter (potter@mnstate.edu), or Andy Scott (scotta@mnstate.edu).
The list of affiliated agencies that are part of the Combined Charities Campaign is truly amazing (2011 charity-affiliates). Whether your interests are in supporting efforts in prevention, intervention, education, the environment, or the arts, or in supporting multi-focused charitable federations like the United Way of Cass-Clay, together we DO make a difference.
