Welcome, Danielle Nasenbeny, assistant professor of English
Danielle Nasenbeny is a new assistant professor of English, who teaches four English courses in composition and American literature.
Q: Tell me more about your role.
A: I’m hoping to advise students in the future and start a student interest group in digital humanities next year when I move to the Moorhead area!

Q: What do you enjoy about your job?
A: I love getting to know my students and helping them find their voice in the classroom. Writing is hard, and many students feel a lot of stress about their writing abilities. When you start to discover the joy in being able to express yourself well, it’s like learning how to speak for the first time. It’s very empowering.
Q: Tell me a random fun fact about yourself.
A: My fun fact is that I used to do TNR (trap-neuter-return) for feral cats in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was very rewarding and a great way to get engaged with the communities surrounding campus!
