Q: What’s unique about the College of Business, Analytics & Communication?
A: I’m still learning the ins-and-outs of the College, but one unique aspect is the focus on experiential learning. Teaching skills that can be taken into the workforce is a priority.

Q: What goals does your department have that excite you?
A: One goal that excites me is strengthening partnerships with area businesses to better understand workforce and labor market needs. Those connections help ensure students are developing skills that are aligned with what employers are looking for.

Q: What do you want prospective students to know about the College of Business, Analytics & Communication?
A: I want prospective students to know that employers are looking for the skills our students develop, and many area businesses are eager to partner with the College.

Q: How do you think students are equipped for their future careers?
A: Students are prepared for their future careers by combining what they learn in class with real-world experiences and industry connections.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your role at MSUM?
A: The most rewarding part of my role is solving problems. I enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges and being the person who can look at a situation from a different angle.

Q: What gives you energy in your work?
A: What gives me energy is the MSUM community. Whether its watching students develop and succeed, working alongside dedicated faculty and staff, or helping support new ideas and initiatives, it’s exciting to be part of that process.
