Recognizing Kerri Spiering with Dragon Pride
Dr. Kerri Spiering recently assumed the role of interim director of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Global Engagement. She has been noticed for her “determination, curiosity, and genuine commitment to serving the campus community”. Kari presented to faculty as part of New Faculty Orientation, welcomed new students during the Dragon Days scavenger hunt, and stepped in to lead the ODIGE future visioning process with her staff.
Jered Pigeon says, “In each of these efforts, she demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and a clear passion for creating meaningful connections across campus. Kerri also helps domestic and international students feel welcomed, valued, and connected to the university community. She is fostering a stronger sense of belonging and creating opportunities for engagement that enrich the student experience.”
