Directory headshots
Faculty and staff may schedule an appointment for a new photo. Headshots are taken in the Photo Studio, Flora Frick 256, and added to your online directory profile for you.
For other photography needs, please submit a Project Request Form.
Campus monitors
Submit an image to be on campus monitors by emailing a .jpg file, sized to 1920 x 1080 pixels at minimum, to marketingteam@mnstate.edu at least two days prior to when you’d like it displayed. Images promoting events run up to two weeks prior to the event. Individual academic courses and student employment positions are not promoted on screens due to the quantity of requests. Print Shop
The Print Shop (MacLean 182) offers high-quality, convenient printing on campus and guidance on off-campus printing. It is open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or contact printing@mnstate.edu (x2173). If your print project is already designed or you’re looking for branded items like letterhead and envelopes, order through the Marketing Store. If you need a print project designed or revised, please submit a Project Request Form.
Branded name badge and business cards are available to order through the online Marketing Store. An account is required to order through the Store. If you do not have one, go to the login screen, click the link to register under “Not a Registered User?”, fill in the form, and an account will be created for you.
Events
For event promotion, please submit the event marketing form and we will provide a recommendation for how to spread the word. (Please use the Project Request form to develop non-event items.)
Photo Library
PhotoShelter, our digital photo library, allows anyone with a StarID to access photo galleries to help tell the story about your program, department or college. Download photos from Photoshelter and submit your own to be added to the library.
Logos and Templates
A brand guide is available, along with downloadable university logos and approved vendor options at mnstate.edu/marketing (choose Brand Standards from the menu). Digital signage, email signature, letterhead and Powerpoint templates are also available (Tools & Templates).
