TEDxFargo speaker and social work alumna fights against human trafficking
In a week, TEDxFargo 2026 will inspire and motivate the Fargo-Moorhead community. The lineup of speakers is undeniably powerful, including a fair number of Dragons such as Moorhead social work alum Melissa Kaiser.
As a nationally recognized consultant, trainer, and speaker, Kaiser specializes in anti-human trafficking and wellness for professionals in high-trauma fields. Her acclaimed social work career began at Minnesota State Moorhead, where she gained valuable experience and grew her passion for helping others.
“I learned how to be excited and passionate about this field, which is the culture around Moorhead’s social work program,” she said.
