Mary Muehlberg and Travis Dolence Present at Minnesota State Open Education Conference
Mary Muehlberg and Travis Dolence, faculty in the Livingston Lord Library, presented at the Minnesota State Open Education Conference on March 25–26, 2026, held virtually.
Muehlberg and Dolence co-presented “Learning as We Label: Navigating Course Markings Across Campus,” sharing their work on how course marking systems are implemented at the institutional level. In addition, Muehlberg and Dolence joined a group of librarians from across the Minnesota State system for a collaborative presentation titled “Z-Degrees in Practice: Lessons Learned from Minnesota State Librarians,” highlighting insights and practical takeaways from those working to implement zero-textbook-cost degree pathways for students.
These presentations are part of MSUM’s ongoing work to expand access to open educational resources and zero-textbook-cost course options for students.
