Jazz and Guitar Ensembles to perform April 9

Thursday, April 9 | 7:30 p.m. | Roland Dille Center for the Arts Hansen Theater

The Minnesota State Moorhead Jazz and Guitar Ensembles will present their annual spring concert on Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Hansen Theater.

The concert will feature works by Billy Strayhorn, Charles Mingus, Joe Sample, Johnny Richards, and others.

Tom Strait, professor of trumpet and commercial music, directs the Jazz Ensemble. Eric Martens, an adjunct faculty member who is an active guitarist and session musician, directs the guitar ensemble.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and are available at mnstate.edu/tickets.
