Removal of Unsupported Office 2019 Software from Campus Computers
To help maintain the security of the MSUM campus network, IT will be removing Microsoft Office 2019 products from campus computers, as these versions are no longer supported by Microsoft.
Office 2019 has not been in use on most campus computers for several years; however, a small number of users still have Visio 2019 installed. To address this, IT will schedule an automated uninstall of Visio 2019 starting Monday, March 9th at 7:00am.
As an alternative, Visio for the web is available to all faculty, staff, and students through Microsoft 365. You can access it using your Office 365 credentials at:
https://m365.cloud.microsoft/launch/visio?auth=2 .
