Professor Mazz Marry and alum Dayna Del Val to deliver TEDx talks on Feb. 6 in Duluth

Biosciences Professor and School of Science Chair Mazz Marry will share his story at TEDxDuluth on Feb. 6 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Dr. Marry’s message is a masterclass in self-discovery, leadership, and the relentless courage required to face your true self. In a TEDx interview he says, “The most helpful, honest and scariest thing you can do as a leader is just to say, ‘I don’t know.’ Let’s work on this together and see if we can work it out.”

Theatre arts graduate Dayna Del Val will also share her story at TEDxDuluth on Feb. 6 Dayna is a proud Moorhead alum, speaker and podcaster. However, her talk isn’t about speaking; it’s about the quiet, disruptive power of silence in a world that never stops buzzing. In a TEDx interview she says, we are living in a “crisis of noise,” which is drowning out our inner voices “trying to give us direction, trying to help us uncover what’s next.”
