Opportunity to serve on LGBTQ+ MinnState Office of Equity & Inclusion Planning Team

Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for campus employees to serve on our inaugural LGBTQ+ OEI Planning Team. This group will play a vital role in supporting the planning of our system sponsored annual June Pride Festival for Minnesota State.

Team Commitment

Meet once a month from February through June, respectively for an hour virtually
Provide in-person Pride Festival Support (booth set-up/takedown) 
Availability to assist during weekend with volunteers (and must receive supervisor’s approval)
Note: our office will engage with your supervisor to accommodate flexible scheduling in exchange of your committed time to assist through the weekend of PRIDE Festival.

Why Participate

Contribute to a meaningful, systemwide initiative to support, advocate for, and elevate the voices and experiences of our LGBTQIA+ students, employees, and members of Minnesota State community
Help shape an event that uplifts and supports our LGBTQ+ community and allies
Build connections with colleagues across campuses and system
