Celebrate the International Day of Education with Moorhead and the University of Zakho
Minnesota State Moorhead and the University of Zakho will host the second International Day of Education symposium on Monday, Jan. 26, at 8 a.m. on Zoom. This global gathering will bring together faculty, students, and community partners to explore new perspectives on teaching and learning.
Keynote speakers include MSUM Professor Boyd Bradbury, who will present The Role of Pedagogy, Instructional Design, and Leadership in Enhancing Teacher Training for the Future. University of Zakho Professor Sattar Jabbar Haji will share The Essential Skills to Empower Learners to Lead in a Modern and Innovative Educational Landscape.
The United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Education in 2018 to highlight the vital role of education in building peace and advancing development. This year’s global theme is The power of youth in co creating education.
