Dr. Robert and Mille Macleod provide scholarship for female student-athletes
Dr. Robert and Mildred “Millie” MacLeod devoted more than 50 years to Minnesota State Moorhead, serving its students, supporting its athletes, and championing fairness and education.
Robert’s long career blended teaching, coaching, university leadership, and distinguished military service, while Millie brought resilience, competitive spirit, and community leadership to everything she did — from athletics to the Moorhead City Council.
Today, their scholarship honors their shared belief in hard work, dignity, and the transformative power of education, inspiring female athletes to excel on and off the field.
