Audition Notice
Musical Theatre Ensemble – Spring 2026
The MSU Moorhead Musical Theatre Ensemble (MUS 320K) will present a series of 10-minute musicals. Each piece offers a complete musical theatre experience in a short format, allowing students to explore performance, collaboration, and storytelling through music and theatre. The projects are diverse and engaging, giving everyone involved the opportunity to take part in the creative process from rehearsal to performance.
General Audition: Tuesday, December 9th / 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. / Fox Recital Hall / Required: 32-bars of a musical theatre piece & a 30-second contemporary monologue (monologue does not need to be memorized) / Sign-up sheet located in the SPA office.
Callback Audition: Wednesday, December 10th / 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. / Fox Recital Hall / Note: Callback notification will be posted no later than noon on Wednesday, December 10th.
NOTE: An accompanist will be provided at both audition calls. No a capella singing will be permitted.
