Open Enrollment Closes in Two Weeks

Hello Dragons,

Open Enrollment will go through November 19, 2025. Open Enrollment is one of the only times during the year you can make changes to your employee benefits without a qualifying life event. Take time to review them so you can make the best decision for you and your family. Any changes or updates you make during this time will become effective on January 1, 2026. You will be able to make changes and updates to your benefits in Employee Self-Service during the dates of Open Enrollment only.

What’s Open?

• • Medical
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Long-Term Disability
  • Pre-Tax Savings Accounts (MDEA, DCEA, TEA)
  • Optional Life Insurance
  • Manager’s Income Protection Plan
  • New Legal Plan

 

What should I do if I want to continue with my same benefits as last year?

• • Review this year’s premium rates and coverage changes
  • Make a new election for pre-tax savings accounts (MDEA, DCEA, TEA) if you wish to continue them. Besides the pre-tax savings accounts, all other benefits will continue in 2026 if no action is taken.
  • Review your medical Primary Care Clinic (PCC), as this impacts your out of pocket costs such as annual deductibles and office visit copays. If you are not switching plan administrators during Open Enrollment, contact your carrier directly to change your Primary Care Clinic.
  • Print or save a copy of your benefits confirmation statement when you are finished enrolling.

 

What if I want to waive my insurance coverage?

• • Enroll in single insurance coverage through Employee Self Service during Open Enrollment
  • Complete the Waiving Medical Coverage Questionnaire on SEGIP’s website to see if it’s right for you
  • Submit the Waiver of Medical Coverage Form to SEGIP via email or fax
