Tribal National Flag Display | November 1-14

The tribal nation flag display celebrates the heritage and cultures of Moorhead’s American Indian students. Each flag includes details about the tribe and its symbolism, offering insight into the rich diversity and unique identities of these Indigenous communities.

Celebrate American Indian Heritage Month by supporting Indigenous creativity on campus! Browse handmade beadwork, jewelry, artwork, and more by Indigenous students, alumni, and local artists. Meet the artists, learn about their work, and shop for yourself or find unique gifts, all while directly supporting our campus and community artists.

Gauntlet Sculpture Unveiling and Reception | 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18
CMU Sun Garden Lounge
Join us for the unveiling of Gauntlet, a powerful new sculpture by artist and Moorhead education major Dennis Williams, now part of the Student Union’s permanent art collection. Gauntlet reflects the challenges and choices of education, rooted in Ojibwe heritage and resilience. All are welcome. Refreshments served after the unveiling.
