Nursing and Healthcare Leadership Study Abroad in Germany and Scotland
Dr. Brandi Sillerud and Dr. Heather Winkler recently led a study abroad program from May 21 to May 30, focused on nursing and healthcare leadership in Germany and Scotland. As part of this immersive experience, students visited ISAR Klinikum Hospital and Clinic in Munich, Germany, and engaged with faculty and healthcare professionals at the University of Dundee and the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. These site visits provided valuable insights into international healthcare systems and leadership practices, enriching students’ global perspectives.
In addition to academic engagements, students participated in cultural excursions and guided tours, further enhancing their understanding of the social and cultural contexts of healthcare delivery abroad.
