Minnesota State Moorhead Orchestra performs on May 4

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Orchestra will present its spring concert on Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Hansen Theatre. The concert will feature works from Mozart, Strauss, and Beethoven, along with themes created by John Williams for Harry Potter and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. All ages are invited to celebrate the change of seasons.
Jon Larson, M.Ed., B.A., conducts the MSUM Orchestra and has guest conducted the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra, the Bethel University Orchestra, and the Fargo-Moorhead Youth Symphony. As a violinist, he is a member of the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra and has served as principal second violin in the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra.
Larson is joined by Suzanne Larson on the piano, and student conductor Sebrina McGovern, who will also be playing the violin.
