Dr. Heather Siek receives Nancy Parlin Grant to attend the National Black Child Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Heather Siek, Assistant Professor of Psychology, received grant funding through the Nancy Parlin grant to be able to attend the National Black Child Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Siek attended sessions related to the eight essential outcomes for black child development which included: safe communities, mental health, education, nutrition, digital safety, representation, safe environment/climate and narratives.
