Teacher Candidates Attend Minnesota Rural Education Association’s Annual Conference
Drs. Scott Klimek and David Wolff, faculty members in the School of Teaching and Learning, mentored eleven teaching candidates who attended the Minnesota Rural Education Association’s conference in Brainerd, MN. During the conference, candidates participated in a variety of enriching experiences, including leadership panels, mock interviews, and resume-building sessions. Additionally, they had the unique opportunity to interact with and learn alongside school principals and superintendents.
Throughout the conference, which ran from Sunday, November 17, to Tuesday, November 19, candidates demonstrated professionalism, confidence, and the heart of a Dragon. They represented MSUM with excellence and played a significant role in the event. Many leaders at the conference shared that the MSUM teacher candidates were the highlight. Candidates certainly made a lasting impression on all those in attendance and contributed greatly to supporting the university’s brand.
