Adding Content for Inclusive Access Courses

Hello from the Bookstore:

As we are 21 days away from the start of term, we wanted to reach out to the faculty about setting up the course material content in their inclusive access courses.

Below is a demonstration link created by our campus partner Brandyn Sauer. The video offers step by step instructions to assist faculty with adding the required courseware/eText digital content into the BrightSpace/D2L courses participating in the inclusive access program.

Inclusive Access Setup Instructions – MediaSpace > Minnesota State (minnstate.edu)

The video is about 7 minutes long and at the 3:18 minute mark, is where Brandyn gets into adding the specific publisher/eText content. If you already know the steps for getting to this point, you can skip to the 3:18 mark. If you haven’t added content into a course before or aren’t sure about the process, please start the watching from the beginning.

There is a piece of outdated information on the video, it’s where Brandyn mentions adding ‘VitalSource Course Materials’ for any eText only required digital material. If a course requires a standalone eText for your class, please select ‘BryteWave Course Materials‘. BryteWave is the new digital platform where students will access their digital course materials. Otherwise the rest of the video is still up to date.

If you have any questions, please contact Helen Hansen our bookstore course material manager at 2347txt@follett.com.
