Workday Training Plans have been assigned; that means you!
All Minnesota State employees have been provided a link to the Individual Training Plan spreadsheet and directed to follow the instructions to pull up their assigned training schedule.
- Workday Training Plans are based on an YOUR Workday security role, which was assigned by institutional leadership.
- All employees will have computer-based Workday training courses to complete. CBT courses are now available through the Enterprise Learning Management System (ELM) in the Minnesota Self Service Portal.
- For employees with virtual instructor-led and instructor-led Workday courses, computer-based training courses should be completed by April 28.
- For employees who do not have virtual instructor-led and instructor-led Workday courses, computer-based training courses should be completed by June 30.
- Virtual instructor-led and instructor-led course invitations and registration details will be sent directly to participants from the Workday Training Team approximately one week prior to the training session.
- Schedule change requests are for critical conflicts only and must be initiated by an employee’s supervisor by using the individual schedule request change form.
- Familiarize yourself with the Workday Training Resources Connect site, and Friends of NextGen resources, including the Passport to Workday, Bite-Sized Learning, and previous training communications.
Workday Training Communication Plan
Since March 11, the OCM Team has delivered four (4) training communications designed to reach all future Workday users using a distribution list containing all Minnesota State employees. Please pay attention to your Workday emails! Each of the training communications is posted on Friends of NextGen.
Please note contract employees and concurrent enrollment instructors will receive separate communication on Workday training requirements; CE Directors and TMT leadership will also be notified.
