Antivirus change on faculty/staff Apple computers
Starting Tuesday April 30, 2024 employees with Apple computers will see the antivirus application change from ESET to Microsoft Defender Endpoint. The program change will be silent and will not require a reboot of the computer. The change will happen when the computer checks into one of the IT management servers, so the change is dependent on when the computer is connected to the MSUM network and turned on.
